Luminescence techniques and miniaturization of analytical systems

Research group at Sultan Qaboos University

Mission

To develop and deploy cutting-edge science to understand and implement the luminescence technique and miniaturize analytical systems to solve analytical challenges that faces the national and international society.

OBJECTIVES

  • To develop highly sensitive and selective novel fluoregenic labels and utilized them for analysis of various biomolecules in complex matrices.

  • To develop novel chemiluminescence systems to solve various analytical challenges.

  • To increase the speed of analysis, sensitivity and  selectivity and reduce hazard waste generated from analysis by miniaturizing the analytical systems.

  • To develop greener chemical analyses methods.
